“It’s all about you!” As my photography portfolio grows, and my experiences deepen, I want to share more than just one or two photos. Here are some of the greatest people I have gotten to know and their stories through photographs!

I get asked this question all the time, so you are not alone in deciding if you should go with a first look or not. When couples or friends ask me this question, I usually respond with, “That is totally up to you!” A first look is and should be deeply intimate with you and your soon to be spouse.
Emily + Sam’s Wedding
One of the first questions when working with a new couple is, “How big is your bridal party?” Recently I had a couple ask, “How do we even choose?” I get it, you have a ton of friends or you have a big family with lots of siblings. Where do you even begin? Your wedding day is one of those BIG moments in life. It is so important to surround the wedding celebration with friends/family who are there for YOU! Those who have been there, will be there and are there for your relationship.

Ideally, everyone wants to have one wedding. The stress of creating a perfect, once-in-a-lifetime day runs high, and with all the moving parts, tasks can get lost in the mix. One of the most common checklist items missed is the importance of the wedding photo timeline. I don’t want to come across as biased but, your photographer is typically the only vendor who gets to spend the whole day with you! I not only act as your photographer, but, at times, your on-day-coordinator, hype man and personal assistant for snacks and drinks. Now, you may be asking, “Where do we even start?” Have no worries!
Lauren + Micah’s Wedding
I was recently asked by a friend “What is a good question to ask a wedding photographer when searching for one?” I responded with, “Ask them how they work under the stress of being behind in a timeline.” Your wedding photographer is really the only person who can regain back time that was lost in the chaos. Having someone who is decisive, thinks on their feet, is able to adapt to changes and still do it all with a smile and joy to their job is who you want.
