“What do I wear?”
Curious and/or stressed about styling your shoot? That’s pretty common. There is a fine line of looking too matchy - matchy, and as if a preschooler chose your wardrobe, so for folks who aren’t really about fashion this can feel very high pressure. Do you go out and buy something new? Do you just close your eyes and point, choosing something you have already? Do not worry! I have a style guide helping you to choose outfits that compliment the environment of your shoot, and focuses on you two! Ultimately, the goal is for you to feel confident, and comfortable. If your outfit doesn’t help you feel that way, don’t wear it! You don’t want to look back years from now and ask yourself, “What were we thinking?”
Everyone, I’d like you to meet Mariah and Adam! As you go through their photos, you will realize they only have two outfits. The first one was casual, it described them as a couple, and complemented them well; simple, cute, and easy. Their second outfit was a more formal option. Regardless of the formality, they were comfortable, and confident. They had little worries about their wardrobe, which allowed them to relax and enjoy their photoshoot. Mariah and Adam were meant to be in front of a camera, and made my life extremely easy as their photographer. I am so excited to celebrate the union of these two later this year at their wedding!
